The Opportunity

Support and promote continued growth of new business for Allcan Distributors. This fast paced, team-oriented position requires someone who is prepared to take on heavy phone volume, significant technical learning, and build lasting relationships with our customers. You will support the development of new accounts and f new opportunities within established accounts through customer service excellence. In turn, you will be a part of an energetic sales team that is continuously growing, learning, and contributing to a growing company while adding value and opportunity to your personal career growth.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Promptly enters order and responds to customer inquiries.
  • Develops sales leads through cold calling, internet research, trade show leads, trade magazines and other suitable resources.
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing excellent customer service.
  • Educate customers about terminology, features, and benefits of various products and services.
  • Maintain and update CRM with relevant information pertaining to a customer, opportunity, or lead.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customers have the best experience possible.
  • Provides Management support in weekly, monthly and annual sales reports and forecasts.
  • Works in conjunction with the Marketing team to coordinate and execute broad based and targeted mailings to prospective clients for lead generation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years post-secondary education
  • 2+ years of Sales experience
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Sales Force or other CRM experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Fast learner, with strong problem solving abilities
  • Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills – must enjoy selling.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Able to maintain positive contacts within all levels of the organization to exchange, explain and interpret information or ideas and follow-up on client requests
  • Customer service focused and team-player
  • E-Commerce or Word Press related experience considered an asset
  • Experience in communication equipment or technology considered an asset
